Training
Training with One Fine Equine is 100% focused on the horse with respect given to their individual needs. Just as our board is tailored to the horse's needs in their environment, our training program is tailored to the horse's needs as an athlete. Our trainers consider the biological, physiological, and psychological needs of the horse including their overall health, soundness, ability, and the goals of the owner.
One Fine Equine's training program has a 3 month minimum, with the focus of the first month being solely on the horse, the focus of the second month being on the goals of the owner, and the third month focusing on bringing the owner and horse together under saddle.
Requirements:
-Credit card must be left on file with our veterinarian
-Blank check must be left for farrier
- Owner must be open to chiropractic adjustments
- Owner must be open to horse being seen by a saddle fitter
Training with Emily
$1,200 per month (minimum of 3 months, board included)
Training services provided by One Fine Equine owner, Emily Szabo, include: exercising, ground work, starting horses, finishing show horses, rehabbing, problem solving, trailering, & more.
Training with Kenzie
$1,000 per month (minimum of 3 months, board included)
After riding for 10 years, McKenzie apprenticed for a year under One Fine Equine, LLC before becoming the facility’s trainer. Kenzie has a hunter/jumper background with three years focused on dressage. Since riding with Emily, she has ridden with every dressage clinician that has been hosted at the facility. She has experience rehabbing, retraining and starting horses under saddle under Emily’s guidance. She chose to specialize in starting horses, but continues to rehab those surrendered to Emily, and is happy to offer that service to outside horses as well. Kenzie offers ground work, trailer loading, show exposure and trail miles in addition to starting, rehabbing and exercising.
