While I’m doing this, in an order that suits the horse, I observe behavior in the stall, in pasture, with a herd, with the opposite gender, on the crossties, lunging and under saddle. Trail is honestly something I never consider because there are too many variables and that’s actually where I do all my training because it’s safest.
